Founded by Jim & Rosine Culcasi. Run today by their son, Jim Jr.

Our Story

Four decades of doing it the homemade way.

In 1980, Jim and Rosine Culcasi opened a small family restaurant with their four children. Everyone pitched in — cooking, baking, serving, and greeting every guest by name. That spirit never left.

Today Rosine's is a third-generation Monterey institution, famous for hearty homemade soups, from-scratch comfort classics, and a bakery case of cakes and pies that people drive across the county for.
